I did not “miss” the Bucs game.

From 2005 to 2008 I maintained a blog about my experiences working in the drug test industry. Every Sunday I revive one of those experiences here. The following was originally posted November 28, 2005.

I did not “miss” the Bucs game.

Gandalf was a lovable mage. So was Vivi…

Back when I played World of Warcraft I used to keep a blog for my adorable gnome warlock. Every Saturday I share another of her adventures here. The following was originally posted August 16, 2006

…but Crystalis? She’s a lovable warlock.

Seriously, what is wrong with […]

Only the bushes are safe.

Warhammer Online continues to impress me with its PvP aspect, which the game unwisely chose to call RvR (Realm vs. Realm). Realm vs. Realm doesn’t make much sense — in the micro scale your character is never taking on an entire realm by himself, he’s taking on another player (or a handful of players). And […]

Oh, so that’s what it is!

I love Super Metroid, so I figured I’d love this romhack called Super Metroid Redesigned which is basically just the world of Super Metroid shuffled around so as to deliver the same fun gameplay with a fresh exploration aspect.

I’ve been through pretty much every book of monsters in the D&D universe since early second addition, and the best one is still the […]

Vlog #011: The US states that weren’t.

I’m fascinated by stories of states, countries and territories that almost existed or might exist. Seriously does Montana really need all that land? We could bust that up and have five, six new states right there.

I went to write today’s update and discovered that nowhere on the entire internet (at least, nowhere Googlehas heard of) has an image of the thing I wanted to write an update about. I, personally, have such an imagine, in a book, but nothing to scan it with, so I went to snap a shot […]

And I thought it was going to be slow today.

My new digs.

My new digs.

Recently I invested in some land out in Silverpine Forest. I went out to survey the […]

Anagrams!

If you re-arrange the letters in my name, you end up with…

…Bardic Birches, a group of particularly poetic trees.

…”Hi, Disc Crabber,” a greeting shouted to a fisherman on his way to catch disc-shaped crabs.

…Sir Chic Dabber, a knight who gives sponge baths to trendy and fashionable women.

…Iced Rich Barbs, a series […]
