FINALLY.
I don’t even want to go into all the crazy asshattery that cropped up during this Let’s Play. If I’d known how frustrating it was going to be I’d have never started it. The last few videos came out really, really nice at least. And yeah, my scripted commentary is almost always better than my live stuff.

I liked the anime cutscenes in this game. The trick is not to take it serious. they’re hilarious because it’s so bad. But the whole angsty why must we fight? thing really got annoying in the later games. The only X games I really liked where 1 and 2. I never cared about Zero all that much.
The Zero games where pretty fun though but they also suffer from way too much talky talky.

X8 suffers from some of the same problems the rest of the later games do, but it’s actually not terrible. It’s no X or X4, but it’s no X6 either.
