Moar LP

So it looks like people thought my new FF1 LP was an elaborate April Fool’s prank. Which… might make sense, if it’s possible to play an April Fool’s prank on yourself.

Anyway, forget me playing FF1 again because it’s apparently the only game I ever play: there are two other great LPs starting up at Talking Time  today too. First we have Final Fantasy III by TheSL, who only very recently finished a playthrough of Mother 3 that took him over a year. Now that’s dedication, folks.

And in this corner we have: OctoPrime presents Crystalis, a legendary NES game that is very near and dear to my heart. Seeing OctoPrime do a good Nintendo game is kind of jarring; this guy has literally done so many old bad NES games that it makes my little solo THIEF debacle look like a walk in the park.

And hey, while I’m shouting out to all the monstrawesome LPs going on over there right now, I’d be remiss not to mention Eddie’s Final Fantasy Tactics, dtsund’s NetHack or Demo-Shinji-Weasel’s hilariously meta Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

Yeah yeah, I slept all day and I’m trying to pawn off today’s blog post on a bunch of other people. If you don’t like it I suggest you re-read my website’s tagline. I do have that “big ol’ rantin’ about Mafia” post about half typed up. If I don’t post that tomorrow feel free to come after me with the torches and pitchforks.

(But use those rubber pitchforks, like you buy at the costume store roundabouts Halloween. Those don’t hurt nearly as much when they stab you.)
