Like everyone else on the internet, I once teamed up with an artist to make a webcomic. It didn’t get very far, but I’ll share one here each Friday until there aren’t anymore. Enjoy.

Like everyone else on the internet, I once teamed up with an artist to make a webcomic. It didn’t get very far, but I’ll share one here each Friday until there aren’t anymore. Enjoy. Being an obsessive nerd of the highest order, I am often bothered by things in my media that normal people (I call them “normies”) don’t care about. Most normies can overlook a trifling plot hole or a minor contradictory sequence of events as long as they serve the overall structure of the story. Indeed, I [...] One of my favorite types of game is a good, solid adventure game, which should more properly be called a puzzle game, except the “puzzle” genre has been hijacked to mean “connect these colored blocks”. Oftentimes people will differentiate puzzle-adventure games from action-adventure games by calling them “point-and-click adventures”, which is an inelegant solution in [...] Clue is one of the best board games ever invented. It’s a game that rewards observation, strategy and deception with only a very small random element. It’s only got one major flaw: you can’t play it with two people. Survivor is so much more fun when the guy you’re rooting for spends all his time balancing precariously on the edge of a knife, isn’t it? From 2005 to 2008 I maintained a blog about my experiences working in the drug test industry. Every Saturday I revive one of those experiences here. The following was originally posted November 8, 2006. A little privacy, please? Like everyone else on the internet, I once teamed up with an artist to make a webcomic. It didn’t get very far, but I’ll share one here each Friday until there aren’t anymore. Enjoy. Since I’m going to bed at 8am these days, I keep sleeping past my update deadline and getting posts up late. So I’m going to schedule Friday’s post to go live at midnight, and see if that helps matters any. (Pro tip: probably not!) |
