Super TT Bros.

After some bickering about what’s fair in a Mario game, and lots of tweaks and patches, them dudes finally managed to finish Super Talking Time Bros.

Here’s a wiki where you can read about the project. The dudes might use this for something else in the future, as well! I suggest walkthroughs for the tougher […]

It’s Nice to Have Goals

Last night I received a call from a man who asked if he could come to our parking lot and scrape the ice off all the car windshields. For this service he was going to charge $5 per car, which would enable him to (as he so succinctly put it) “buy more booze”.

Well, at […]

Lost, Season Three

With the holidays behind us, we’ve finally picked up our long journey through Lost. I’m currently a few episodes into season three.

I think I’m still following the major plotlines, but new threads and characters are being introduced at dizzying speeds. I’m not saying I want things to go back to dragging the way they […]

Missing Chunks in Minecraft

This happens relatively often in Survival Multiplayer, and it’s awesome when it does:

That bottom one reveals at least two gold deposits. Can you spot them?

Jocelyn Beauregard, Private Eye (part six)

Having completed NaNoWriMo ’10, I’m going to share one section of my story here every Friday until you’ve read the whole thing. Hooray for easy update days! Enjoy.

“Mrs. Keltzschlinger, thank you so much. I really appreciate this!”

It was a windy morning, and Jocelyn was standing outside her office with her next door neighbor, […]

Super Talking Time Bros. (and that other one too I guess)

The pseudo-dueling projects of Super Talking Time Bros. and Super RMN Bros. 2 have come to an end. As of this moment, though, RMN Bros. hasn’t been compiled into anything playable.

I’ve played a fair amount of each of these games, and I’m happy to report they’re both reasonably good. Will I LP one or […]

It’s Back

I woke up late tonight, but when I did so I learned there was a case of Pepsi Throwback waiting in Peanut’s trunk for me.

Furthermore, I learned this case of Throwback didn’t have the words “Limited Time Only” printed on it.

Now I can die happy.

I cannot stop watching this video.

A friend sent me this link to the motion capture technology being used on L.A. Noire. I can’t stop watching it. It pretty much completely floors me.

Instead of expecting something interesting here to read today, you should just watch it over and over too. And imagine what crazy Uncanny Valley glitches we’re going to […]

Let’s Play Final Fantasy II (Part One)

This was my very first exposure to what would eventually become my very favorite RPG.

I was in fifth grade. I didn’t know what an RPG was. My friends and I were old hats at the original Final Fantasy, of course, and we’d long since bombed our way to the heart of pseudo-RPGs like […]
