People are going pretty nuts with the Minecraft server we set up, as you can plainly see. My own meager constructions pale in comparison to some of the incredible stuff people have developed, which include:
- a subway system, complete with working ticket counter,
- a giant industrial-strength mob grinder that continuously spits out materials,
- an enormous floating castle,
- an epic, multi-level waterslide,
- a cathedral,
- a hanging garden,
- vast, lake-spanning bridges,
- a foreboding, lava-filled glass shell,
- a pyramid,
- secret underwater bases,
and of course, endless miles of mines hammered through the daunting stretches of rock.
The most amazing project, though, is a to-scale replica of Etrian Odyssey. Which is to say, the entire 30-floor maze from the DS game. People are working around the clock to blast the gargantuan hole required to lay the groundwork to build this epic, monstrous dungeon.
Truly, my friends are insane.
